MY STORY

I began my academic life undertaking a fine arts degree with research honours. After completing my Masters of Art Therapy, am now a fully registered professional member of ANZACATA and PACFA with 7 and a half years of working creatively and therapeutically with children and families. I have worked in clinical settings and in schools. I am a specialist practitioner in sexual assault counselling; working with victim-survivors including those at risk of or experiencing sexual exploitation. I am also a specialist practitioner working with problem or harmful sexual abuse presentations in children and young people. I have developed prevention programs in these areas and delivered them in schools. Creative Connection aims to draw on my skills and experience to offer a variety of services. At the foundation of my work is privileging the importance of creativity and connection in our lives; both with self and relationally. I aim to support people to do this in a range of ways.
